In fact, I was looking for file preview not embedded playing. Some time ago (with Kde 3.0 or 2.2, can't remember) when I put the mouse pointer over a movie file it opened a small window and started playing it (the same way as with audio files) and a friend of mine told me that he saw that movie previews existed in kde 3.1 and it showed the first frame of the video in a tag (the same way as with images). I've tried to install kplayer (not kmplayer) which is the package available from the URL Jarno said but I can't see movie previews within konqueror (though the kplayer program is great!) Any Ideas? Where are preview configuration files located? Should they be modified?
