After a minor session in xfce, I switched back to KDE 3.1. Upon entering, a dialog appeared saying: "Could not start process Unable to create io-slave: klauncher said: Unknown protocol 'file'."
My desktop is completely devoid of icons. Any ideas? -- Comments are most appreciated, Bob
