That's what I tried first with the same results and that was two days ago. I read on the kde-devel mailing list that using libxml2 > 2.4.25 was causing this to happen. So, after I downgraded to the testing version I ran debclean and cvs update to make sure everything was clean again -- it did not work. I rebuild kdelibs to see if the problem was with that. kdelibs builds fine with either version but I can not get any kdebase. Did you build these with the sid versions? Chris Thiel
