I have the same problem with my sid box using KDE cvs head. I haven't investigated the problem further, but the same packages work on another setup without any problem. I have the following config - - debian sid - - 2.4.19 - - HP Omnibook XE3 - - Savage driver of xfree 4.2.1-2 So probably there is a problem with any of those items. Just in case it is related: I get a lot of zombie process of threaded programs like mozilla and licq. I have no clue yet about the reason.
