Hi,

I am using Karolina's excellent kde3.1 packages. Since the installation
remote shares do automatically appear on my desktop. So far I have not
found a way to get rid of them. This, however, is a minor problem. If
one of the shares is not available (e.g., the computer hosting the
share is down or broken network connection) my system freezes and I
have to make a reset. Has anybody else observed this problem? Has it
something to do with the shares on the desktop?

I would appreciate any help, because it is really anoying if the system
freezes.

Dirk
