A few days ago I did a security update. After I couldn't get knoqueror to start. I restarted X. After kde hung on start up. I deleted ,kderc .mcoprc and ~/.kde. Restarted and all went well. Spent a few days resetting up everything. Last night I turned off my computer when I restarted kde acted like it finished but then didn't ever show anything but wallpaper. clt-alt-backspace Logged in no problem. Now konqueror wont start again.
Is the only fix for this deleting everything again? I've already tried getting rid of konquerrc and ,kde/apps/konqueror and see no change. All worked -- Earl F Hampton http://hamiii.sytes.net/index.phtml
