Hi all, Can anybody please tell me why the metapages (i.e. kdenetwork) do _depend_ on the several packages? Wouldn't it be better if they're just recommended or suggested?
My example: I would like to install kdenetwork, but I don't need kppp. Right now, it depends on it, so I either have to force dpkg to ignore the dependencies or to remove kdenetwork (just the metapackage).
