i do not get nodeadkeys to work under kde. presently i have

Option "XkbKeycodes" "xfree86"

Option "XkbSymbols"
"en_US(pc104)+de(nodeadkeys)+ctrl(nocaps)"
Option "XkbGeometry" "pc(pc104)"
but nothing between the standard (generated by the package's debconf
dialog aka the first 5 lines) and this makes a difference.
other windowmanages work.
anyone seen this, and knows how it works?
