I had a similar problem that I noticed this morning. At the time I noticed it a kdeinit process which appeared to be an IO slave that was doing thumbnails of images had apparently used over 10 hours of CPU time which corresponds to about a day of laptop use (I don't run top very often ;). A regular kill of theprocess didn't work so I had to "kill -9" it. -- If you send email to me or to a mailing list that I use which has >4 lines of legalistic junk at the end then you are specifically authorizing me to do whatever I wish with the message and all other messages from your domain, by posting the message you agree that your long legalistic sig is void. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
