I run /etc/init.d/kdm start as root and it says 'done', but kdm doesn't run. I can run gdm and kde just fine. I enabled verbose logging for kdm and got the following in syslog, but it doesn't tell me much. All config files for kdm are the .deb defaults and all kde packages are from Sid as of 07:00 GMT Jan 29. The Xserver is 4.2.0 from the prebuilt linux i686 binaries at XFree86.org.
