I am experiencing the same problem with Kinkatta as with Konqueror. I can select Kinkatta from the Internet application menu or by clicking on a desktop icon which calls Kinkatta, and the only activity will be the cursor will have the cute flashing penguin to indicate it's loading.
No window appears nor does any indication of Kinkatta appear in the panel. Konqueror on my machine does the same thing and the only way to bring it up is as a kfmclient via the Home icon. -- Comments and information are appreciated.
