Yes exactly. I think that favicons are automatically enabled in konqueror. Perhaps you should try clearing one entry in $HOME/.kde/share/config/konq_history and try removing the appropiate image from ~/.kde/share/icons/favicons, reload again the URL, and wait some seconds. Remember that not all places provide favicons. By the way acccording to www.favicon.com only IE 5.0 or above and Konqueror support them.
