I've now upgraded to kde 2.2 alpha, and it shows :-) I've already submitted a bug report against kmail, but before I did the same against quanta, I wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong. First off, it doesn't look like quanta has been updated to use the newest qt libraries. Is that a problem? I.e., when you updated to qt2.2, do all qt apps need to be recompiled? And if not (i.e., it's backwards compatabile binary-wise) then do you have any idea of why it is crashing? Here's the bt and output to terminal, if it helps at all:
