What I usually do is the following:
rsync rsync://site.which.I.want.to.mirror/
And see what modules are available.
As a side note, I prefer the URL format I listed above to the
site.which.Iwant.to.mirror::module/, since I think that URLs
are more intuitive (and at least the rsync that I have here
understands both).
