Konq by default doesn't look in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins which is where you'll have plugins if you've installed Debian Mozilla M18 (and probably other versions).
It does look at "$MOZILLA_HOME/plugins" by default, but whatever that was set to, it wasn't the above directory. Hmm... even after adding the directory, and scanning for the Macromedia flash plugins, they still don't seem to work (www.flash.com) in Konq, and I do have plugins enabled globally.
