Once upon a time, I heard Ivan E. Moore II say > By default XFT support is disabled. You have to turn it on in the Styles > section or export QT_XFT=1.
Oh, silly me. I ticked the Using Antialias option a while ago, before upgrading to kde 2.1-final-1 and qt 2.3 beta. That's my problem though. Thanks for the hint. BTW, do you know any plan for the support of XFT in qt for other charset besides (iso8859-1, iso8859-15, and unicode)?
