Programs compiled with it run in web browsers and in Node.js, and can use JavaScript libraries and the DOM. . Two binary packages: scala-js (the compiler plugin for scalac 2.13, the IR library, the linker and a small scalajs-link command) and scala-js-library (the Scala.js IR of javalib, the Scala 2.13 standard library and the Scala.js library). - Why is this package useful? scaladoc, the Scala 3 documentation tool, has a front end written in Scala.js (search and other page scripts). With this package scala3 can build it from source instead of shipping prebuilt JavaScript. It is also the base for packaging Scala.js libraries later. - Built without sbt, with Debian's scala (2.12) and scala-2.13; no Google Closure Compiler back end. Most jars are byte-identical to the upstream 1.22.0 artifacts on Maven Central. - The EPL-1.0 and BSD-3-clause files are upstream's JUnit and Hamcrest test runtime sources; ThreadLocalRandom is public domain. - Maintenance: in the Debian Java team.
