Don't bother duplicating source packages. Fetch the source packages from a 
specific snapshot of the archive and generate the javadocs for them, publish 
the results outside the archive like Emmanuel's suggestion.

Using snapshot.d.o gives you more choice of what point in time you want the 
javadocs to represent, instead of what's in the archive when you're generating 
them.
