Hello, As part of the minidebconf-online i want to work on the last steps of packaging JVerien # 929477.
One step is : getin a library sugar as a dependency of the part from numericaal chameleon which I need fpr JVerein. There is stimm a package jacksum in buster which contains the needed library and many things more. The last version of the Debian package is 1.7.0-7 I looked deeper into it and found that it needs much reworking. The source code on which the package is based no longer exists. There is another source where I can take a better structured upstream code from: https://github.com/AriseUIC/JackSum Then I only want to package this directory https://github.com/AriseUIC/JackSum/tree/master/src/jonelo/sugar/util How should I named it? My suggestion for the Debian package is libjacksum-sugar_1.7.0+ds-1 Are there any objections not to do so?
