Well, the igv binary package had no dependencies defined. :-( Something must have failed in the ${java:Depends} subsitution. For the moment I've added the most important ones and uploaded. I've verified that the igv_2.4.6+dfsg-1 package in unstable has Package: igv Architecture: all Depends: ${shlibs:Depends}, ${misc:Depends}, ${java:Depends} in the source package which results according to apt-cache show igv in Package: igv Version: 2.4.6+dfsg-1 Installed-Size: 17818 Maintainer: Debian Med Packaging Team <debian-med-packag...@lists.alioth.debian.org> Architecture: all Depends: junit4, libbatik-java, libbcprov-java, libcofoja-java, libcommons-io-java, libcommons-logging-java, libcommons-math-java, libcommons-net-java, libgoogle-gson-java, libguava-java, libhtsjdk-java, libhttpclient-java, libhttpcore-java, libjama-java, libjargs-java, libjaxp1.3-java, libjcommon-java, libjfreechart-java, libjgrapht0.8-java, libjhdf5-java, libjide-oss-java, libjlibeps-java, liblog4j1.2-java, libswing-layout-java, libxml-commons-external-java When I now build igv in an up to date unstable chroot no dependencies are added at all. Thus I've manually added the dependencies that are obviosly needed to start the program but something is definitely wrong. Any comment from the Debian Java team?
