I'm packaging a Java application[1] that requires Java 8. It seems at the
moment this is not possible in a policy-compliant way as javahelper can't yet
generate appropriate ${java:Depends} for 1.8 yet. (IIRC)I guess it's no problem as I can hard-code openjdk-8-* until javahelper is updated but I suppose that's strictly against policy. Can I ask what the plans/timeline are/is for javahelper to support Java 8 apps? Thanks! [1] http://jmtd.net/wadc/
