Hi all, jbossas4 depends indirectly on libtomcat6-java through libjboss-remoting-java. I haven't been able to patch libjboss-remoting-java to work with libtomcat7-java. Should we consider removing jbossas4 and its related packages? This is a rather old version of JBoss (2008), I'm not even sure it works properly (#465596) and it has a low popcon (<80).
The only non JBoss packages affected are excalibur-logger and libspring-security-2.0-java, but that should be easily fixable by excluding the related classes. The other packages depending on jbossas4 are: libjboss-cache1-java libjboss-cache2-java libjboss-cache3-java libjboss-integration-java libjboss-j2ee-java libjboss-aop-java libjboss-deployers-java libjboss-classloader-java libjboss-xml-binding-java libjboss-microcontainer-java libhibernate-jbosscache-java How should we proceed? Should we raise the severity of #465596 and prevent jbossas4 from entering testing, or do we request a removal of these packages?
