Hi all,
Currently each version of tomcat{6,7,8} creates its own user/group. I
found this a bit annoying when upgrading because I had to chown several
directories to switch to the new user.
Do you think we could settle on a unique tomcat user/group id instead?
We would start with tomcat8, tomcat6 and tomcat7 remaining unchanged to
avoid breaking existing installations.
What do you think?
