With Debian Med we have the original, typically the svn, substituted with a README.status file debian-med/packages $ cat samtools/trunk/README.status --- Format: 1 Status: git SVNDeleteRevision: 8022 URL: git://git.debian.org/debian-med/samtools.git Comment: > This package is now managed in a Git repository.
