No, I didn't. I guess I thought either the latest version or nothing at
all. :)

I have successfully compiled easymock 2.5.2, the tests work and so does
wagon2. That would make the library slightly less old (4y).

That means upgrading to 2.5.2 should be feasible without causing too
much trouble. But what about wagon2 and maven-plugin-testing then? I
think filing a wishlist bug to support the latest easymock API is
appropriate.
