I'm not a big fan of using "sed" to work around a limitation of
maven-repo-helper :)
To my understanding, mh_installpom and mh_installjar doesn't handle
version override consistently.
mh_installpom -o -e1.1 ...
- $MAVEN_REPO/org/hamcrest/hamcrest-core/1.1/hamcrest-core-1.1.pom
- $MAVEN_REPO/org/hamcrest/hamcrest-core/debian/hamcrest-core-debian.pom
[and .pom contains a valid <version> tag]
mh_installjar -l -i1.1 ...

$MAVEN_REPO/org/hamcrest/hamcrest-core/1.2-SNAPSHOT/hamcrest-core-1.2-SNAPSHOT.jar
- /usr/share/java/hamcrest-core-1.1.jar
-i only handle versionned symlink in /usr/share/java/
but mh_installjar doesn't handle -e switch.
I'll try to provide some patch to maven-repo-helper to implement a -e
switch in mh_installjar.
