Hi
kaffe is (as far as I know) down to five r(b)depends:
* libicu4j-java
* libjericho-html-java
* libvecmath1.2-java [RM: #548753]
* libslide-webdavclient-java [RM: #531446]
* cdbs [see #547391]
I will have a look at libicu4j-java, since I will need to upgrade anyway
for eclipse. There is also a new upstream release of libjericho-html-java
available, so these two should be taken care of relatively soon.
libvecmath1.2-java was scheduled for removal today and does not have any
r(b)depends, so it will disappear soon.
On the other hand libslide-webdavclient-java has been marked for removal
for a while now, but is currently waiting for us to deal with the
remaining r(b)depends. We have fixed all but the final two of these:
* libjboss-buildmagic-java
* jftp
libjboss-buildmagic-java has a popcon of 11 and no r(b)depends (other than
itself). As far as I can tell, the original upstream has renamed it to
jboss-buildmagic-thirdparty (which explains why the watch file is broken).
I have not tried to build libjboss-buildmagic-java without
libslide-webdavclient-java, so I do not know if it works without or if
there exists a new upstream version that works without.
jftp has a popcon of 94 (vote + recent < 40) and no r(b)depends. Last
upstream release was 2008-07-22. Looking at the source-forge, upstream has
not done anything since that day either.
I have tried to build jftp without libslide-webdavclient-java, but it
failed. I did not spend a lot of trying to work without; so it might be
possible to do so, though I do not have the time currently to fight with
it.
Therefore I am considering to remove libjboss-buildmagic-java and jftp;
if anyone is using these packages and wants to keep them, please step
forward.
~Niels
