Just thought I'd let people know of problems installing the eclipse
packages. (from testing Version: 3.1.2-1)
It was erroring on startup, see stack trace below.
It ran OK as root so I looked into permissions and had to change;
/usr/share/eclipse/configuration
and the files in this dir primarily
/usr/share/eclipse/configuration/.settings
