I made some small experiments in packaging maven2. A minor problem is that some of maven2's dependency use maven2 as build tool. (plexus-utils, plexus-archiver, e.g.). I'd suggest to upload a initial release of this libraries built with a custom ant build file. This is how libplexus-utils is built. I was able to build an experimental package of maven2 by feeding the bootstrapper a custom repository where the jar files are links to the installed versions already packaged for debian (/usr/share/java/junit.jar -> debian/repository/junit/3.8/junit-3.8jar) - -billy - -- Philipp Meier - [EMAIL PROTECTED] A: Because it breaks the logical sequence of discussion Q: Why is top posting bad? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFEBYk5Zo1qZ89k76URAsARAJ0ZEJYat43FtWshT8PJBnMZ/n3mgwCfdtUH mFYmTNFX8Y+s8vUkmRuxreE= =Enho -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
