Michael Koch is working on eclipse but is very busy atm. I know it's not the best solution, but eclipse project has now a gtk/ppc build you can install: just untar(gz) this file: http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops/R-3.1-200506271435/index.php in /opt/eclipse or /usr/local/eclipse and you'll be able to run it in the mean time.
