Hi Eric, javax.swing.JSpinner$DateEditor is already implemented in GNU classpath CVS (the only missing Editor is javax.swing.JSpinner$ListEditor atm). You should be able to compile it with free java when new releases of the free vm's arrive in unstable. If you upload it to contrib before - please add the package to http://java.debian.net/index.php/MovingJavaToMain, with some additional comment that its compilable against Classpath CVS and should be moved to main when new vm's are uploaded.
