Subject: java-common: Debian Java FAQ is way out of date
X-Mailer: reportbug 1.50
Date: Tue, 13 Aug 2002 14:38:09 +0200
Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Package: java-common
Version: 0.14
Severity: important
As a matter of fact I'm responsible for this (but maybe not fully since the
debian-java people have not volunteered to update the documentation). The
problem is, the "Debian GNU/Linux and Java FAQ" contained in this package
(and part of the DDP [1]) is too out of date to really be useful.
Help would be appreciated to update the Java and update things, such as the
list of Debian 'woody' Java packages [2]. Possibly just browsing through
the Debian-java mailing list [3] would be sufficient to add sufficient content
(for the time being) to make it useful.
Regards
Javi
