The Lucene package is in pretty good shape. * No non-wishlist bugs * 100% lintian clean * Reasonably packaged (self tests and everything) * Up to date with upstream * Popular according to popularity-contest * Not that complicated
This would be a great package to have in main. I'm looking for a co-maintainer interested in helping it get there. If you are interested, please send an email (with or without patch!) to [EMAIL PROTECTED] If you are not (yet) a Debian Developer but are interested in tackling this problem, great!
