Small correction:
- License of JVM is GNU LGPL (not GPL).
- Class library is under GPL with a linking exception that says, mainly, that you can link more-or-less with anything.
This is pretty important. The GPL, when applied to the class library can have pretty important consequences. See:

Note that Kaffe's class library is licensed under the terms of the GNU GPL.
