AFAIK the only problem should be the swt library and I thought that this depends on gtk or motiv and both should be availible on linux, doesn't matter, which platform. Anyway, If it is not possible to build swt on linux/ppc you are unlucky. AFAIK there is no plans to port swt to another platform. In the moment the MacOSX Port still needs some time to get finished. There is also an comunity (or better not OTI involved) based port to the fox (?) toolkit, which just started. See the newsgroups at eclipse.org for that. Jan
