Is this just me, or does the Blackdown JDK conflict with the java-common package in Sid?
Unpacking j2sdk1.3 (from .../j2sdk1.3_1.3.1-1_i386.deb) ... dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/j2sdk1.3_1.3.1-1_i386.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite `/usr/share/gnome/apps/Settings/Java2/.directory', which is also in package java2-common
Is this known? Will the Blackdown JDK be fixed to work with the latest java2-common packages?
Is the Blackdown Debian package up to date now? Check it's the same version/date as the tar files. Last time I checked the debs appeared to have been abandoned - they were several months older than the tar files and a version with known bugs that had been fixed in the tars.
