You cannot easily switch between Java tools. Some tools include '.' by default, some don't, some do, but, when you set an explicit CLASSPATH, you have to specify it, some add a pre-defined CLASSPATH to the one you specify, etc. The java-compiler-dummy and java-virtual-machine-dummy were intended to solve this problem by setting a common model. But, at the present time, they are not really completed.
