I have only installed JDK1.1(from stable) and no other plug-ins. I am using Konqueror 3.1.3 in KDE 3.1.4. As I am new to Java I am not quite sure what is installed so I think I will continue working through the tutorial to build up some background experience to be able to answer your queries properly next time.
