-- Tanto tempo fa' usavo benissimo hddtemp...ma ultimamente sui miei
server non riesco piu a controllare le temp degli HD.
Su un server Dell con dischi SCSI in RAID 1 ricevo questo errore:
xen:~# hddtemp /dev/sda
/dev/sda: DELL PERC Mirror: known drive, but it doesn't have a
temperature sensor.
xen:~# hddtemp /dev/sdb
/dev/sdb: DELL backup: known drive, but it doesn't have a
temperature sensor.
Sempre su altro server Dell con un solo disco SCSI ricevo questo:
mail:~# hddtemp /dev/sda
/dev/sda: log sense failed : Invalid argument
E se un altro server Siemens con un disco SCSI ricevo questo:
ced2:~# hddtemp /dev/sda
/dev/sda: FUJITSU MAE3091LC: drive supported, but it doesn't
have a temperature sensor.
La cosa strana è che i server sono abbastanza recenti, come anche i
dischi...tranne per quello SIEMENS che è un po datato!
Come mai cio'?? Potrebbe essere colpa del raid (Hardware) che non fa
vedere le temp? E nel caso dei server che non sono in RAID??
