Mi collego alla discussione a riguardo perchè anch'io ho un problema con
il cdrom. Nel momento in cui faccio:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ mount /cdrom/
Mi compare il seguente errore:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdb,
missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so
Ovviamente eseguendo:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ dmesg |tail
hdb: command error: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
hdb: command error: error=0x51 { IllegalLengthIndication
LastFailedSense=0x05 }
ide: failed opcode was: unknown
end_request: I/O error, dev hdb, sector 64
isofs_fill_super: bread failed, dev=hdb, iso_blknum=16, block=16

Ovviamente ho contollato come è stato già suggerito in ML che:
/dev/cdrom->hdb
e nel file /etc/fstab:
/dev/hdb /cdrom iso9660 ro,user,noauto 0 0
Ciò che non capisco è il perchè se invece uso un programma come xine per
ascoltare un CD o vedere un dvd tutto mi viene riconosciuto correttamente.
