Controllla lo stato del o dei dischi . Se non erro ( vado a memoria perchè sono fuori casa e non ho il pc sottomano) ci sono tool appositi. Cerca smarttool e gnome-disk o smart disk. Fagli fare una scansione completa e valuta i risultati. Se ci sono settori danneggiati oltre un limite "fisiologico" opterei per un backup dell'intero disco in vista della sostituzione.
