avevo già eseguito:
apt remove --purge nvidia-*
rm /etc/X11/xorg.conf
ok fino a questo punto
riavvio il pc il monitor comincia a funzionare con i driver nouveaux
provo ad installare solo il pacchetto:
apt install nvidia-legacy-390xx-driver
ma non crea nessun file
/etc/X11/xorg.con
nel file di log trovo:
cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log (le parti iniziali sono tagliate ma non vedo
nulla di rilevante in quelle)
