update-grub non ha funzionato? dovrebbe rifare il menu iniziale
dipende dove è grub. update-grub reinstalla grub dove esisteva prima, ma
se cambi disco di partenza devi installarla (grub) su quella.

INSTALL_DEVICE can be a GRUB device name or a system device filename.
grub-install copies GRUB images into /boot/grub, and uses grub-setup
to install grub into the boot sector.
