occhio a restartare postfix quando cambi /etc/resolv.conf
Temo che il resolv.conf che postfix usa sia chrootato:
/var/spool/postfix/etc/resolv.conf
(in alternativa, forse anche una copia a mano
cp -p /etc/resolv.conf /var/spool/postfix/etc/resolv.conf
dovrebbe funzionare)

usa anche envelope_from (o direttamente -f nel comando sendmail)

Default: no
When set, mutt will try to derive the message's envelope sender from
the "From:" header. Note that this information is passed to sendmail
command using the "-f" command line switch, so don't set this option
if you are using that switch in sendmail yourself, or if the sendmail
on your machine doesn't support that command line switch.

se usi un relayhost direi che probabilmente fintanto che
al tuo realyhost piacciono i parametri che usi piaceranno
anche al resto del mondo
