----- Forwarded message from Paul Martin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ----- Resent-Date: Mon, 6 Nov 2000 16:59:03 +0100 X-Envelope-Sender: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Mon, 6 Nov 2000 15:58:05 +0000 To: Debian Devel list <debian-devel@lists.debian.org> Subject: Re: depth 32 not supported in X 4.0.1 Mail-Followup-To: pm, Debian Devel list <debian-devel@lists.debian.org> User-Agent: Mutt/1.2.5i In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; from [EMAIL PROTECTED] on Mon, Nov 06, 2000 at 09:26:44AM -0600 From: Paul Martin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Resent-Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Resent-From: debian-devel@lists.debian.org X-Mailing-List: <debian-devel@lists.debian.org> archive/latest/72176 X-Loop: debian-devel@lists.debian.org Precedence: list Resent-Sender: [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Mon, Nov 06, 2000 at 09:26:44AM -0600, Chris Lawrence wrote: > My understanding is that XFree 4.0 uses the actual color depth of the > screen, rather than the bits per pixel setting.
