divento root 1. /usr/src/kernel-2.2.17# make mrproper 2. # make xconfig 3. # save & exit (/etc/kernelconfig, te lo accludo) 4. # elimino 2.2.17 da /lib/modules/ 5. # make-kpkg clean 6. # make-kpkg --revision=custom.1.3 kernel_image 7. # dpkg -i ../kernel-image-2-2-17_1.3_i386.deb 8. # copio vmlinuz-2.2.17 in / della partizione di suse (ti accludo /etc/lilo.conf) 9. # reboot e .... tutto come prima! La macchina mi si pianta la riga dopo Loading deb ............. Boh! L'unica differenza con quanto descritto in debian.README di kernel-source-2.2.17.deb è che divento root subito anziché al punto 6. come descritto, però se non sono root make xconfig non lo posso dare, tanto meno make mrproper. Per tornare a Debian devo ripristinare 2.2.17 relativo al kernel 'vecchio' in /lib/modules da suse, e tutto funziona. Approfitto per chiedere un parere su un libro, debian 2.1 unleashed, vale la pena di comprare un malloppo del genere ora che è uscita 2.2? Qualcuno ce l'ha? Grazie e ciao, Nicola
