How are you trying to use them? What application do you have listening or trying to open /dev/ttyS0 and/or /dev/ttyS1 ? To configure them to a pre-set speed , you can use the 'setserial' command, but any serial-aware application like getty / minicom etc. will also permit you to change these settings. Cheers, Gavin.
