Hi, Folks. I'm in the process of helping create a fully PAMified box with LDAP authentication, and one thing I can not figure out how to work is SAMBA and PAM. We've recompiled samba with PAM support, ldd shows the pam libs linked, but authentication fails, and we never see any hits on the LDAP server. Has anyone gone down this road before?
