Hi, I'm interested in knowing as well.
We run a bunch of webhosting and dedicated servers using kernel 2.2.19 . Most boxen are Intel PentiumIII or AMD Athlon or Durons. Will there be much of a performance boost from using the new 2.4 kernels, or are there many compatibility issues? Anyway, I know the ext2 2Gb filelimit has been fixed in the 2.4 kernels, so thats a bonus, but are there any other "great" improvements like that? And don't tell me about the new USB, webcam, etc. functions and other "desktop" stuff because these are servers ;-) Thanks in advance.
