When our customers dial-in, and they run winipcfg in 98 it shows that their subnet is 255.0.0.0. Recently a customer complained that this was degrading their performance. I've tried some other isps to see what happens on theirs and its about 50/50 with 255.0.0.0 and 255.255.255.0. My question is does it make a difference as far as performance is concerned?
